Communities with zoning districts in place have unique insights on what works and what doesn't, that could be valuable to inform Zoning Reform! Use the Stories tool below to share with planners and other community members. We are specifically looking for stories related to the following topics. Please include a reference to the topic in your title so we can keep things organized.

1) Examples of specific parts of a zoning regulation that your community is particularly proud of. Tell us the zoning district and the section, what it accomplishes, and if you what you learned through hashing this out when drafting up the regulation.

2) Examples of projects/project types that got approved despite not being consistent with the intent of the zoning. These stories could point to parts of zoning that could be tightened up, or examples of how to avoid unintentional loopholes in new regulations.

3) Did you work on a zoning regulation with a particular goal in mind? What components did you include to advance that goal, which may be useful for other communities with similar goals?
