Gallatin County is excited to announce the kickoff of the Gallatin County Growth Policy Update, Envision Gallatin, which will act as the County's overarching land use policy document.

As the fastest growing county in Montana, the area has experienced significant change in the last 15 years and the Growth Policy needs to be updated to reflect current conditions and to provide guidance on future growth and development. It will clearly articulate the County’s land use vision, set forth meaningful goals, and provide a practical path for implementation. The 2003 Gallatin County Growth Policy can be viewed at this link: 2003 Growth Policy
